This training module provides a comprehensive, interactive approach to colorectal cancer screening, prevention, and care coordination. Participants will learn to understand the pathophysiological progression from benign polyps to invasive cancer and apply evidence-based guidelines for timely interventions. Through activities such as case analysis and image interpretation, learners will strengthen their ability to distinguish normal from abnormal findings, communicate results effectively to patients, and plan appropriate follow-up care.
Beyond clinical knowledge, the course emphasizes strategies to improve patient outcomes across diverse populations. Learners will engage in data analysis, scenario planning, and case studies that highlight the role of health-related needs, quality improvement initiatives, and community health worker (CHW) interventions. By the end of the module, participants will be equipped with practical skills to address screening gaps, design patient-centered care plans, and advance health equity in colorectal cancer prevention and management.
